This is possible with built-in T-Mobile Connection Manager software. It helps user to automatically detect the best available Internet connection
In addition, WebConnect USB Laptop Stick offers to connect to compatible networks overseas. It works with tri-band 3G connectivity (HSDPA/UMTS 1900/AWS/2100). If you are in an area where there is no 3G coverage, Laptop Stick can connect you to GPRS/EDGE networks. And you are not left to search out a Wi-Fi hot spot as your only option of getting online.
But this is not all that T-Mobile offers to you. Laptop Stick can work also as a portable storage device. It’s equipped with a microSD/SDHC expansion slot that can accept up to 8GB cards. Now it’s easier to store information and connect to the Internet.
One of the offered services starts at 59.99 USD which gives you 5GB of wireless data per month. If you use Internet very often and go over that limit, you will be charged an overage fee of 0.20 USD per MB. To be informed about your traffic limits and to minimize overage charges, Connection Manager software also monitors how much you have left for the month and how much data you have used.
Now it is available in T-Mobile retail stores and online. There are various pricing options available: 49.99 USD with a two-year contract after rebate; 99.99 USD with one-year contract; or 249.99 USD with no contract.
