The final iteration of the iControlPad is not called the “swan song” for nothing. In the olden days it came with the Apple dock connector and therefore was only compatible with devices of the company. When the new iControlPad comes out next week, it will operate via Bluetooth and will be compatible with apps on iOS, Android, BlackBerry OS, Symbian, etc. Compatibility expansion is quite timely for the clamshell because many of you might be thinking of a gaming smartphone a lot because of SE Xperia Play. For $ 75 iControlPad will almost certainly fit your device and let you play easier. It might sound pricy, but then it would save you a couple of bucks if you would otherwise actually buy the Xperia Play which I think also makes it a nice St. Valentine’s Day gift idea but only if you manage to lay your hands upon it before next Monday. Xperia Play would be a better gaming device though.
