Despite the fact that policemen use handcuffs to arrest criminals some people use them to turn them on while doing something. Yet according to Luis Berumen's opinion handcuffs can be used for other purposes too.
Thus his new gadget named Zero Point Zero represents a handcuff watch. Each part of handcuffs has a digital display where time is indicated, i.e. first display indicates hours and second one - minutes. Quite an original invention, isn't it?
Of course, such an idea of making watch in the form of the handcuffs may represent just a will to make the gadget look stylish and different. However, I think that Luis Berumen, being a designer, i.e. a creative personality, couldn't create this watch with the single purpose of making something unusual. In my opinion, by incorporating digital watch into a pair of handcuffs, he tried to comment on idle human fancies to control the one thing in the life people have no control over – time. Thus, creating his unique watch, he probably emphasizes that the persistence of time is a cruel mistress.
