There are a lot of disabled people using wheelchairs in order to move but now it seems to be possible to generate electricity while on the go. Developed by South Korean industrial designers Min-Goo Kim, Yun-Jin Chang and Su-Eun Park, these smart wheelchairs offer safe moving even at night. This self-powered wheelchair comes equipped with included power plant that operates based on rotational wheels movement during the day to supply its LED lights installed on the wheels to make it clearly visible at night. Wherever the wheelchair’s user drives, he or she may easily monitor the reserve of power available in the batteries.
In order to do that, one should just check the LCD screen that appears to be positioned in the middle of each wheel. Once the power is accumulated it is then stored in a fitted battery so that your night driving experience could be highly illuminated.
Not only this helpful gadget is an ingenious solution to night driving but also is it a sustainable way to move. Moving by the wheelchair seems to become safer and ecologically friendly.
