Studiomobile have engineered a pretty nice concept to be both architectural and agricultural miracle. Called “sea water vertical farm” is looks like a strange construction taken from the unreal world. But now, it is real and this exquisite farm is able to irrigate your crops using sea water. Anyone would ask how this could be possible. Italian architects from Studiomobile has developed this new farm concept and made it possible for sea water to be transformed into fresh one. Dubai appears to be a perfect city for this purpose, since there is not enough fresh water. The project with sea water vertical farm is not a novelty for Dubai. The sea water vertical farm seems to be a nice continuation in sustainable structures. The innovative farm operation consists of three stages. In the first stage, the greenhouse with air going into it, is cooled and humidified by sea water, thereby giving enough humidity into fresh water which is great for vital irrigation. The next stage, the air comes through the second evaporator which makes humid air and warm dry air to be collected together.
Thanks to the second stage, the air becomes hotter as well as more humid. With 70% of the fresh water on a worldwide scale, the concept turns out to be very efficient way to close the gap. In the last stage, the warm air moves upward possible thanks to stack effect. Finally, the warm and humid air is condensed with fresh water starting to fall down into a special tank. Apparently, the concept is a good sustainable idea which is able to improve our ecosystem with greenhouse gas emissions being reduced.
