Seeing the growing success of the franchise, Capcom decided to give the public something more to eat and announced the release date of their new creation, Resident Evil 6. The famous survival horror game will be released on home consoles only. Unlucky for those who prefer PC as the gaming platform, no information on the PC release is given.
As Capcom states, Resident Evil 6 will be their most ambitious, immersive and feature rich project yet, a dramatic survival horror experience of the year. Intriguing, isn’t it? Being a fan of RE series, I hope that their words are true. The development of the game has already started and it’s scheduled for release November 20, 2012
How about the game’s setting? Resident Evil 6 throws you into a world where an escalation in bioterrorist attacks worldwide has led to widespread fear among the population. To stop the growing panic in the population, the President of the United States decides to speak to the nation, but at the same moment his speech installation was attacked, throwing the world into despair as the President’s safety was compromised.
Resident Evil 6 will bring back such memorable names as Leon S. Kennedy and Chris Redfield. Some new characters will be added as well.
