Just recently we have covered the information on Palm Topaz and Opal tablets were we suggested that while Opal is planned to launch on September 11, the Topaz might appear some time earlier. And we were right! As of today it is clear that Topaz will come round earlier, much earlier in fact. Designers had put last touches on it back in 2010 and now the Taiwan-based Inventec to which production is outsourced will start shipments in March. Right in time I should say: soon enough after February’s event and early enough before iPad 2 starts shipping, this might be good for sales.
