Nokia has begun making official statements about the so-called Tube, considered the biggest competitor for the iPhone from the Apple. Kasey Farrar, a Nokia Company spokesman, said in an interview that the gadget, which launching is expecting in the second half of the year, will be the first phone with a touch interface that is compatible with the most recent Symbian operating system, called S60.
He also said that Nokia launched more than a dozen wireless touch cell phones that a compatible with Linux operating system, including such gadgets as N810 and N800. Tom Libretto, Vice-President of the Nokia Company said that the Tube phone will be compatible with Java applications and will allow uploading of photos. Not much info, but it is the beginning.
