All of us probably remember those days when real music lovers were walking down the street with the boom box on their shoulders. However, despite the fact that young people were satisfied enough having the opportunity to listen their favorite music everywhere they want, it wasn't an easy task to carry those big boom box all day long. Yet designer Joonas Saaranen working on his B.A. degree has recently managed to invent Reppo II gadget that would probably simplify significantly the process of "boom box carrying". His gadget represents an urban hard-shell backpack with two built-in loudspeakers. Despite the fact that it’s a kind of boom box, designer tried to give his invetion some features of a backpack too. So inside there is some space that can be used to carry your mp3 player, CDs or something else. Altough this device is quite simple in its structure, it has very modern and stylish design.
As a conclusion I would say that given gadget seems to be quite a successful attempt of making a portable music device; no matter where you go, music has got your back. Thus it may become popular enough among young people, if it is sold at the moderate price.
