Fingerprint Scanner Flash Drive

Jul 14, 2006
I have seen may different Flash Drives that had many types of data protection integrated in them. I have seen one with data encoding function; the other one needed a password in order to access the information. There was one that would even destroy all the data on it if you loose it.

However, not all those Flash Drives protect your data 100% there is always a chance to read the data on you Flash Drive. I have bought the coolest gadget ever; the Flash Drive that has a Fingerprint Scanner built in.

When you use it for the first time, it will remember your fingerprint and it will not allow reading the data to anybody except you next time. To get the access to it you just need to let is scan your fingerprint anytime you want to use the Flash Drive.

However if the Fingerprint Scanner breaks somehow the there is an alternative way to get to your data stored on the Flash Drive. You just need to enter a password that only you know and that is it. I always loose Flash Drive with important information on them and I am always afraid that somebody will steal some ideas for me.

Now I feel safe for my information with this gadget. Besides there are different Drives; there are 256 MB, 512 MB, 1 GB and 2 GB of memory. The most expensive one is so it is not very expensive.

I recently bought one of these off eBay (second-hand) and it will not let me access the drive, is there a way to re-set the fingerprint and/or password on these things?
