Another class-action suit hits Microsoft over scratched 360 discs

Jul 20, 2007
There have been reports that Xbox 360 consoles scratch discs for several months now. That made EU to launch an official investigation of that. They have decided to do that in Uncle Sam style: that involved filling lawsuits.

The two California plaintiffs have filled a class-action suit against Microsoft. The reason is that the design of Xbox 360 makes it dangerous for the discs. It simply damages them as you use them. In the lawsuit they asked for damages of about $ 5M.

The number of affected consumers' paperwork depends though on how widespread the issue is. Why they don't just make a good drive? I wonder when will they stop suing Microsoft, or better say when will Microsoft start making good products.
