A nice thing that Logitech Z – 4i system has is a wired remote control. You would say that wired is not a good thing and it limits its portability however it gives the remote more functions. First, all the functions of volume control, bass level and power buttons are situated on the remote. Besides, you don’t need to buy any batteries.
The remote also has a headphones jack where you can plug earphones and listen to them when everybody is asleep. Moreover, there is an auxiliary input where you can plug MP3 player, or CD player and listen to music directly from them. It is more convenient than getting to the back of the subwoofer to connect those things. Although the design of the wired remote is not that sleek, I would expect something more from a gadget like this.
