All you need to make this gadget is some cutting tools, old Gameboy and a EPIA PX 10000G motherboard, and of course some LEDs as indicators of activity. The motherboard is just the right size to fit Gameboy's case.
You can be sure that Gameboy will never play any Mario again but it will merely run Windows XP and all the applications that are based on it. So this is how you get a nice PC that you can take with you.
You would ask where the hard drive is, or any drive actually. Well, to store Windows' and other files there is a CF card with the capacity of 4 GB. It is enough for a light Windows XP and many programs like AIM, Word, Excel and other.
No buttons are removed except for A and B buttons because they have been replace with LED indicators of activity. Don't push those to hard.
There are many holes on the sides for all the plugs like USB ports, Ethernet jack, and Video Card output of course. There is now LCD display or anything that goes with it but you will be able to connect any monitor to this gadget in order to see what you are doing.
Keyboard and mouse are also not included but you can connect them via USB ports. So a Personal computer becomes portable with not much money spent.
However, there is a problem with power source, I don't think that it will be able to run on a battery other the UPS which is very heavy. So that means that you will have to bring power cord with you too. No specifications on the abilities of this PC. Don’t even know the processor's frequencies.
Well, just another unique geeky gadget that might get you interested. So get online on Amazon.com, buy Gameboy and make your own unique gadget.
