Have you ever been to IMAX video theatre? It is not about that huge screen that is about 20 meters high. This is nothing important. We are talking about the concept of the 3D video.The Philips Company is going to produce new type of TV-sets and monitors for the computers. These new products will have the 3D technology built in. They are going to start in the first half of the year 2007 and we hope to get it soon. What it means is that you are going to be able to seethe 3D picture right in your house.
Imagine James Bond car come out of the TV, well at least you are going to have a vision of that. It will make our home video more realistic and more expensive too.
However, you are going to be able to see the 3D picture only if you are placed in a certain spot in front of the new TV. Sometimes when you have guests you will have difficulties with that. There are not enough spots to place like 5 people, but you can place your honorable guest in the middle and sit around him. Anyway you will have time to watch the TV buy yourself.
The prices of those products have not been mentioned anywhere but I tell you they are going to be fairly high. You got to pay a lot of money for high tech TVs.
