I always wished to have a small portable computer. Not the laptop but something that is much smaller. All the PDA's and other Pocket PC's are not for me. Their keyboards are too small and they are not powerful enough. However I always wanted to have some gadget that I could take with me everywhere.When I found this Linutop PC I was very glad because my wish has come true. This gadget PC is the size of your arm and it is a fully functional computer that can do all the usual things a computer can not very powerful though.

This is a pretty powerful machine especially for that it is a size of your palm. I think that it is one of the best things you could have in such a small device. You can carry it in your pocket; it will easily fit in there!
The good thing about this Mini-gadget PC is that it does not need any active cooling systems. Therefore it is totally silent and will not disturb anyone in the room. It will not produce any noise when you use it because it has no moving parts or anything like that. There are some advantages and disadvantages to it.
You cannot mention about HDD on this computer but it will be enough for all the office applications that I need the most. The Linutop PC is a very good gadget for a businessman because it is small, it is portable, and it is a PC!
Linux Debian is installed on this computer is (NO WINDOWS!) There are some built in applications like:
- AbiWord just like a regular MS WORD on your PC
- Evince for viewing the PDF format files
- Firefox browser
- Gaim for instant messaging
- Totem media player
It will cost you about 250 – 300 Euros, so I think that it is a good price for a piece of technology like this.
