A cordless Gadget Charger

Sep 13, 2006
Most people these days have got gadgets and use them every day. Things like cell phones, MP3 players, GPS systems, PDA's and cameras use electricity to work. As we use them every day we need to charge them. However, what happens when you go to a trip to Europe? You are going to need several plug converters, and several voltage converters in order to charge your gadgets. Besides, you have to carry all the chargers with you and they are not really lightweight. There is a gadget that can help you with that.

Splash Power Pad can charge your gadgets wirelessly. It is a very convenient way to charge your own gadgets. It charges them fast and it can charge several gadgets at the same time. It looks like a usual pad and you can put your gadgets on it. The pad is not very big but it will fit 5-6 gadgets depending on how many you want. I think that it will even work if it lies just by the pad but I am not sure about it.

In order to charge any gadget you just have to place it on the pad and the charging begins. There is a twist to that. It will not charge all the devices because they have to be Splash compatible. To make it Splash compatible it needs to be fitted with a Splash Module. The Splash Module can be installed by the manufacturer of the device or you can add it on and it will work just fine. I must say that many manufacturers these days make more and more Splash enabled gadgets so there will be no problem with that.

There is a problem if the manufacturer of your camera did not install the Splash Module and you cannot find a place where you can add it on. The answer is easy: you are going to have to find a new camera and sell yours.

If you are interested in how it works I will tell you how. It works using the Electromagnetic induction whatever that is. The magnetic induction makes the Splash Module active and it charges your cell phone, camera, or PDA etc. just like a normal charger.

The advantages that come with this Pad are enormously big. First, you do not have to worry that you forgot one of your chargers if all of your gadgets are Splash Enabled. Second, you do not have to carry those bulky chargers at all. Third it charges several gadgets at the same time. Isn't that amazing? I love this gadget for its features.

I think that this is a necessary gadget for people who travel a lot and I think that everybody must have the Splash Power. And I think that not only traveling people should use it but it is also convenient to use it at home. I travel about once or twice a year but most of the time I use this cool gadget at home every day.

This is old tech (5 years old), now reaching the public.
The pad radiates a wave (microwave/radio etc...) in a pulsed AC fixed frequency. Example (magnetic: Push/Pull)

The receiving device is pushed/pulled and translates this 'momentum' of energy into electricity. the electricity is used to charge the device.

And yes this is more radiation to add to your collection of radiating gadgets :) Remember.... visible light is radiation, don't be afraid of the word 'radiation' you likely don't understand how much radiation you are subjected to or how its rated as "Safe" anyhow.
