Do you love Golf as much as I do? I play Golf whenever I can, even after work in summer time. However there is one unpleasant fact about golfing: I can never find my golf balls after I hit them. When that happens and you can't find the ball you just have to take another ball and forget about the lost one. However, nobody wants to loose the ball and I am not exception. Fortunately there is a gadget to help us prevent balls from getting lost. Using this gadget you will need only one ball to play all the 18 holes unless the ball falls into a pond.This gadget is called the RadarGolf and it will help you find you balls. All you need to do is to turn this thing on and it will show you the distance between the ball and you. It is really easy to find the balls using this wonderful gadget. You just walk around and see the distance between you and the ball. If it decreases then you are going in the right direction if it increases you are going not towards your ball. It is very simple and you do not have to have any PHD's in order to be able to use it.
How it works? Well, it is not only about the gadget itself that can find the balls. The balls that you have to use are special. You have to buy them with the device in order for it to work. The balls have a chip in them and the chip receives the radio signal form the device and turns it back. This way the device knows the distance between ball and itself. As you approach to the ball the signal is getting stronger and it knows where to find the ball.
There are some disadvantages too:
1.There are two shielding pouches. One of them is large and the other one is small. If you do not use the balls you have to keep them in the pouches. This way the RadarGolf will work fine. However, if you do not keep the unused balls into them the device will show the distance to them because it shows you the distance of the closes ball. That means that if you do not do that you will be looking for the balls that are in you own bag. That is a bad thing. The pouches are made of metallic fiber that actually blocks the radio frequency signals and this way the balls in the pouch will not work.
2.If you are somehow playing with two balls at the same time and you have lost them the RadarGolf will be confused and may not be able to find them because they interfere each other.
3.Of course the cost of the ball and the device. The RadarGolf comes with a dozen of golf balls and it costs $ 250. Besides, you can buy another dozen for $ 40. It is pretty expensive for a golf ball.
Talking about the cost of the balls: they are pretty expensive but, hey, you are not going to loose them as often as you used to loose usual balls. Generally this is a very cool gadget and people who love golf should use it. Besides, it will save you a whole bunch of time.
