Installing any security systems in you house is somewhat expensive and it takes lot of time to do all the wiring and all other stuff. I have met this problem when I wanted to install a new system with cameras and motion detectors. It was quite expensive I must tell and all I have done is I just installed the motion detectors in the house and did nothing outside. A month later I have bought this wonderful and very useful gadget: the motion sensing camera powered by solar energy. This camera is a really good devise for protecting your yard from intruders. It turns on and starts recording when it starts sensing any movements.
Amazing, but it can detect something moving from 250 feet away. When it starts recording it transmits the video signal to the receiver at 2.4 GHz. Besides, the camera covers a big field in front of the house because it can turn 90 degrees horizontally and 45 degrees vertically. I have installed one in my front yard and one in my back yard. It is very easy to install the camera because you just need to mount it on your wall or something like that.
This camera is powered by sun and it has the rechargeable battery that powers it during the night. This is very convenient because you do not have to worry about somebody cutting the wires and all that stuff and you do not have to pay for the electricity. As soon as the camera detects the movement and starts transmitting the video and audio signal the receiver beeps twice so that you know that it has detected something.
It has also a LED light that will light up for a minute if you did not hear the beep. It costs about $ 160 but I think that this is not that expensive because you will get your money back for not paying for the electricity eventually.
I am going to buy two more to put them on the sides of my house so that I can cover all the area around my hose. Well, this gadget makes you feel more safe and it also helps you protect you house from robber. However, if they did really rob you, you will always be able to recognize them on the tape. I think that everybody should buy a camera like this one instead of buying the one that is not solar powered and has no motion detectors even if it is cheaper.
