It will just tell you that the meat is ready. This way will not have to be worrying about overcooking the meat and nobody will have to spend half of the party next to the BBQ. The thermometer works up to 100 meters away so it should be enough for you back yard and the house. This electronic gadget really helps me a lot and I am happy with it.
