TrueScene accident video camera

Aug 02, 2006
Is it not frustrating when you come out from a store and you see that your car has been bumped by someone else and he got away.

I have had this so many times that I bought an electronic gadget to protect myself from expensive reparations. This gadget can be attached to your rear view mirror and it will record everything that happens to your car while you are away.

This cool device record for a period of 30 seconds and then overwrites the clip again and again. However, once you car have been bumped it stores the last 30 seconds that it had shot.

You would ask how it does that and the answer is that it has a G-force motion detector. With help of that this electronic gadget knows when your car has been bumped. Besides, it is very light-weight and you can easily stick it to your rear view mirror and to you back wind shield so that you can see both rear and the front of your car.

Besides, it does not need any extra batteries it works from your car battery. Once you have the video clip you can use it as the evidence. The clips are protected so that you cannot change them. Besides, they have a watermark of the time and date.

There is one more cool feature: it has a GPS system built in so it will also show you the place where it happened. With its help I have found the guy that bumped me and he has paid for the reparation of my car. I think that even the cost of 500 pounds is not that bad because it can save you much more. I bought this gadget and I can really see its help. P.S. I am going to put one in the back so I can be sure about my rear too.

Jim - do you have a website address? It would be interesting to see your solution compared to the one above (if I understand it right, their one also records whilst driving)

Nice but we are working on the same technology which works while driving. The device stores video in flash memory. If you are in an accident the device saves the event. We call it the GVC or Guardian Vehicle Cam. Now you have proof to be used with the police, court evidential hearing or your insurance company you were not at fault. Call Jim at Guardian Manufacturing Inc 321-631-4580 ext. 320 for more information.

Interestingly enough, this system isn't on sale until January 2007 (as confirmed by truscene themselves) so it would be interesting to know how this person bought one - call me sceptical, but my gut feeling is that this is just a self review, made to look independent.
