I have a Nokia 6280 mobile phone and it is a good phone. However, taking pictures of far situated objects is somewhat difficult because of the digital zoom. What a digital zoom does is that it lowers the quality of the picture when you zoom in. That is the problem with most of the phones; you loose quality as you zoom in. However, I have found a solution for myself.
I have bought a cool gadget to help the phone not to loose the quality. The optical zoom lens that was invented for the phones fitted my Nokia perfectly. It is a 6x zoom lens for the mobile phones that will let you make high quality pictures of the objects that are far away. To install this lens you just need to take the shell off and replace it with the one that has the new lens built in.
It is easy to do because it is specially designed to fit the Nokia 6230 and the Nokia 6680. There is one problem though. When you use this lens, the pictures on the preview on the LCD monitor are somewhat dark to see the details and the problem with focusing appear. However, it is easy to solve this problem by adjusting the lens manually.
The picture will be a little dark too, but the phone will correct it by adding some exposure when you take the picture. I think that having some troubles will not prevent you from using this zoom lens because you get the high quality pictures.
