If you see this watch from a distance in the dark, you will think it were a mini UFO. It has colored LEDs all over the display. The Solsuno watches come from the UK and their trick is that they have no hands, just LEDs. These 138 LEDs are used not only to show the hours and minutes, but also seconds, day of the week, day, month and year. The red LEDs are used to express hours and minutes, the green, yellow and other red LEDs are used for seconds. A watch without hands, numerals or a dial cannot be called ordinary, as not many would be able to read it. But if you want to stand out in the whole crowd, be cool and have something that nobody else has then this watch is exactly for you. When I saw the watch for the first time - everything black - the first association was a cobra. I don't know why, but the first thing that came up in my mind was a big black poisonous snake. Now imagine how it looks on the wrist! That is what I call STYLE.In addition, the Solsuno is 50 meters water resistant and is made of stainless steel. It has a very low power consumption, though I thought that the 138 LEDs whould exhaust the battery in no time. What can I say? The developers gave their best. By the way, it has also 3 alarms, different sounds and lights, so you will never forget or miss any appointment you have made.
If you buy it at the official Solsuno shop or any official representative in USA or Canada you will also get a one year manufacturer warranty. So don't hesitate! If you feel you are stylish and one of a kind, hurry up.
The Jacob & Co. Quenttin Watch
Here is the most unusual watch I have ever seen. The limited edition Jacob & Co. watch can be called expensive, beautiful, rich, amazing but not ordinary.Firstly, it has everything an expensive watch needs, i.e. a sapphire crystal, the precious metal bezel and cage and an amount of pieces depending on the model.
The Jacob & Co. Quenttin watch has a vertical mechanical movement (40 jewels) with an escapement for manual winding; however it has an external access to the Tourbillion for fine-tuning. It features also a Swiss anchor incorporated in a Tourbillion cage. The dial has neither hands nor an electronic display. It is made in the style of cassette players of the 60's-70's, which had a mechanical counter. In this wrist watch the counter is the time. This amazing little engine is powered by 7 barrels and it is displayed through vertical rolls. This power supply is enough to keep this watch going for 31 days, i.e. 744 hours. The watch is covered by a fine but strong water-resisting glass, which can stand depths up to 30 meters.
The bezel and the cage are made of White, Rose Gold or Platinum (this depends on the model, as mentioned earlier) with some applications of carbon fiber on the side of the cage.Depending on the type of precious metal, i.e. model, of the Quenttin watch, it includes 99 pieces for models of White Gold, 18 pieces in Rose Gold and 18 pieces in Platinum too.
I haven't managed to find out the price, but be sure it should be very expensive. All the jewelry and precious metal will not be sold as a discount.
Wrist watch made of electronic paper
The high-tech watches. I collect them and I have more than hundred of them. I have pretty simple ones and I have some really cool ones. Some of them have radios built in, others have cell phones built in, there are some water resistant ones, weather predicting. The reason I liked this watch is that I have never seen a watch that has this new electronic paper technology built in. This watch is right for me. I bought it on an exhibition in Switzerland and this is a really perfect watch. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. This gadget watch is made by two companies together: the Seiko Watch Company and the Seiko Epson. The E Ink Company helped them too and they have created a cool watch that looks brilliant. You would ask what so special about this watch. The answer is that it has not LED display, no TFT displays. Its display is made of electronic paper. The new high-tech paper has been created not so much time ago and they have managed to combine in one gadget the electronic paper and the watch mechanism. The watch looks like a bracelet that is about 3.5 cm wide. The paper itself is 9 cm x 3 cm, this way you get a pretty big screen that shows you the time. Besides, on the bottom of the paper screen there are cool equalizer-like puzzles that flash and change the shape. It looks really cool when you look at it. I think that it was a big success for them. I have seen many watches but this one impressed me very much. This watch is very stylish and it looks great when you wear it with a night dress or when you go to work. This watch is not like the other watches that are colorful and look funky. It matches any clothes actually because of its shiny body and the paper is grey. I would say that this is a real art work. There are some disadvantages too. I am not sure of how to change the batteries and how long it can work without changing them. What about the electronic paper? I am not sure if it is durable enough for clumsy people that might hit it. Of course, it is situated between two pieces of glass but it is still not that durable. However, if you are careful with this watch you will feel good about your appearance because this watch does really look good. The most precise watch
Would you like to have one of the most precise watches in the world? You would ask what I need it for. The answer is that it is very cool and you can "show off" in front of your friends that your watch is the most precise in the world. I got one of them and it feels great not only because of time it's just about being cool and popular. Some people would say that this gadget watch is useless but I would say that it is just a cool watch that does not cost that much. I received it for my birthday from my colleagues. They said that they gave it to me because I was often times late for work and appointments. After I received this watch I have to be in time because this watch is as precise as it can be. How it works? It is a usual looking watch that has a radio receiver in it and it automatically sets the time and date. The receiver uses the NIST official time radio signal every night at 3 o'clock in the morning (by Eastern Standard Time). This time is taken from the most precise clock, the Cesium atomic clock. It has an accuracy of 1 second in 1,000,000 years. If you are in a different time zone all you have to do is just set your time zone and the watch will automatically adjust the time and date. This is a very smart watch because you can be wherever in the U.S. I am not sure if it works in other countries but it probably can. The radio signal cons from the WWVB transmitter that is placed in Colorado so your watch will get the signal wherever you are. The signal is transmitted on a frequency of 60 KHz. (I wonder who needs that info.) Besides, this watch will show you the strength of the signal. This gadget watch has also some other features besides being precise. It has two alarms that you can set to ring every day, it displays the date and the day of the week. It will also automatically adjust to the Daylight Savings. And one of the coolest features it is water resistant. This means that you can easily keep it on while swimming and it will still work well. Besides, the plastic that it is made of is very durable and high-impact. I would say that this is a watch for a true sports man because of their durability on the one hand and it is a watch for a true gentleman because they are very precise. There is one disadvantage that this watch has. As I already said this watch works only in the U.S. so I do not think that Europeans will be able to use this amazing gadget unless they have installed another transmitter in Europe. However, generally I believe that this watch is very neat and I am one of the happy owners of a watch like that.
