Programmers, there is finally a watch gadget for you! I am a programmer at a big company and as you all know we often time have to use the binary codes. I have got so used to them that I can read them even if you wake me up in the middle of the night. I think that it is simple to do that, maybe it is because I am used to it. However, on one of my birthdays my wife gave me a present. Guess what it was. It was a Binary watch that shows the time in binary. I liked the Kerala Trance (that is the name of this model) at first sight because first, it looks cool and second, it uses binary code to show you the time. It looks very modern and stylish and it is black (I like black color very much.)
The other thing is that it has two rows of LEDs to show you the hours and the minutes. You would ask me how it works. The upper row that indicates the hours has four LEDs. There are also four numbers above the LEDs: 8, 4, 2, 1. In order to find out how many hours it is now you just need to add up the numbers above the lighted LEDs. For example if the firs and the last LEDs are on it is the 8 and 1 then you just add it up and get the 9. It means that it is nine o'clock now. The lower row works just the same but it has more LEDs in it because it needs to display bigger numbers. There are six LEDs with six numbers below them: 32, 16, 8, 4, 2,
1. With help of these numbers you can show any number up to 63 (Well, you need only 60 of them). In order to see what time it is you need to press the function button and the LEDs will turn on and you will be able to tell what time it is. It is also very easy to adjust the watch. This gadget has been created for people like me that like their job and are used to binary codes. Besides, this watch will increase your adding speed and you will be adding numbers faster after you use this gadget for some months. There is also one good thing about it. In order to find out what time it is you need to think (to add some numbers). I heard from the news that the more you think the more you live. Some Japanese scientists that worked on that say that thinking makes you live longer. They even give out the portable play stations and games like it to old people. It turns out that this watch makes you live longer. This fact makes me feel better because it actually helps people. Well, I think that this watch gadget is very cool and I am very glad that I got one for my birthday.
Bluetooth watch
Now days there are mainly two devices that we carry all the time can show us the time. These two devices are the cell phone and the watch. Some people say that it is better to use watch if you want to know what time is it because the watch is on your wrist but the cell phone is in your pocket so it is faster and easier to look at the watch then at the cell phone.On the other hand why wearing two devices that show the time? However, some people have decided to make your watch and your cell phone work together. Guys from Seiko have created this cool watch gadget the Seiko Bluetooth TR-006 watch that uses the Bluetooth technology to communicate with your cell phone. With help of this technology this watch can connect to any cell phone that has this function.
Using this watch you will be able to access your cell phone's functions. I mean you can put your cell phone in your bag and you will still be able to control it with your watch. This is so comfortable that you do not need to take out your cell phone. This gadget will alert you if you get a new SMS message or if you get an e-mail etc. Moreover, you can actually control the cell phone by changing the ringtones and some other parameters.
However, the coolest function that it has is that it shows you the name and the number of the caller when somebody calls you, so you don't even have to take out your phone if you don't want to answer it. It is convenient to use it with hands free accessories because they do not display the name and the number of the caller and you do not know weather to answer or not. Now using these both gadgets (Bluetooth watch and the hands free) you can forget how your phone looks because you do not have to take it out of your pocket anymore.
Another useful thing about this watch: it will not let you forget your cell phone anywhere. How it does that? It just alerts you if the connection to your phone is broken. If it does that you will know that your cell phone is not more then several yards away so you can go back where you were and find it. It is amazing that a small watch gadget has so many functions built in. Almost forgot about one of the main watch characteristics: this watch looks cool and stylish, it has a leather belt and a big display. I hoped that I would be able to talk using this watch so I do not have to use the hands free accessory but they have not created it yet. However, generally this watch is very cool and neat and has a whole bunch of functions built in so you will be pleased when you buy one.
Digital watch †with MP3 and Video player
I have seen many watches with the MP3 players built in. However, they were all alike; the main difference was in the size of the internal memory. The more memory the watch had the cooler it was. Of course the sound quality is important too but now days most of MP3 players have a very high sound quality. We had all that until the Aigo Company has created its new gadget watch. Guess what it does except playing MP3? It plays videos too. Its screen is just like the colored cell phone screen and has a resolution of 160 x 128 pixels. And the videos do really look good. When I firs saw it I thought that it was just a watch with an MP3 player built in and just had a cool big display. The watch really looks good and classy and when it plays the MP3's it shows what file type it plays, time of course, battery charge etc.
All the control buttons, the headphone port, the mini – USB port are placed on the sides and do not stick out and that makes the watch be even more convenient to use and look better. The gadget watch plays MP3 and WMA files and I plays the MPEG – 4 video files (Xvid/AVI). There are two models available: one with the 512 MB of memory and the other one with 1 GB of memory built in. To make videos especially for this device I use a video converter and make the picture size 160 x 128 pixels. I use the video converter that I used to convert videos for my phone. This way the video file becomes smaller and I can download it to the computer.
The USB 2.0 interface lets you download videos and audio files very fast and that is one of the advantages of this watch because most other watches that I have seen have use USB 1.0. Having a not very large video files when converted you can download the whole movies on to it and than watch them later on a plane or in a long journey. The best thing about this gadget is that they have fit so much technology into such a small body. I am not sure about its battery life time but it should be long enough to play what you want during a trip.
However, this gadget watch is still really cool and I haven't seen any other watch that would look better or had a better video quality. The watch itself is black and has some blue and red stripes on it and the belt is black to. I think that they made it black to match any clothes. The only disadvantage I think is that the earphones are not wireless. It would be much better if they had the Bluetooth technology built in. It would make this watch even cooler and there would be no wires when wearing them. However, this must be too much and this technology will eventually appear in devices like this one.
