To start, they have the Motorola V9M on 9/4, the USB EV-DO Novatel U727 modem on 9/30, Palm Gryphon (code name for Palm Centro) and Sanyo S1 2500 on 10/14, LG LX260, HTC Vogue, BlackBerry 8130 Pearl 2 and PX600 on 11/4, Motorola Q9C on 11/23 and Treo 800w and Samsung Blackjack International in Q1 2008.Even if these dates are solid now (assuming these are actually real), providers are known to switch up dates for various reasons.

Digitimes's insider at HTC tells them they just received ODM orders for Windows Mobile smartphones from Sony Ericsson to ship sometime in the 2nd half of 2008. We'll find out whether this means SE will dump Symbian altogether or just have two smartphone OSes, like Palm.

And what's that next to it? The AT&T 8925? Yes, and its roots are the HTC Kaiser, with a 3MP camera, 320x240 screen, 128MB of RAM and Telenav GPS. Then there's the Verizon XV6800, but we've already shown you spy shots of that.

Reminiscent of devices like the HTC Excalibur and just about every Blackberry, the M530w has a full QWERTY keyboard for your typing pleasure, a huge d-pad and scroll wheel for Blackberry-style play. For connectivity, this half inch thick wonder has triple-band (900 / 1800 / 1900) GSM, 2100 MHz (can you feel the pain? can ya?) UMTS / HSDPA, and of course EDGE.

This time, it's the Centro nuzzled up for some quickie shots with Sprint's Treo 755p and new Vogue (that's, HTC Touch to the rest of the world) and what must be Sprint's take on the new OQO Model 02. A veritable who's who of soon to be launched Sprint handsets.

The device feels incredibly sturdy and well balanced -- no end seems any heavier than another. Every edge blends perfectly with the next (which will probably help fight gunk buildup over time), and holding the device to one's ear is comfortable enough, although not as comfortable as, say, the HTC Touch.

According to 9to5Mac -- you know, the same folks who brought us this gem -- the next "flagship iPod" will be dubbed the iPod Touch, and while we're sure HTC fanboys are already getting riled up, you should know by now that Apple ain't scared of stealin' someone's name. Regardless of the title, it's the details here that are intriguing, namely the suggestion that a scaled-down version of OS X could be running the show.

Aug 14th 2007 8:05AM by Darren MurphFiled under: CellphonesIt's been just under two months since getting a whiff of the forthcoming S640, and now it's time for US-based CDMA users to (officially) celebrate, as FCC documentation has finally outed the HTC Iris S640. The paperwork shows that the smartphone will indeed operate on CDMA850 / 1900 bands, include WiFi and Bluetooth, offer up EV-DO connectivity, and sport USB for syncing and charging.

Since all our intel thus far has suggested that the Athena would come out of the gate with 2100MHz only, we'd normally be our jaded selves and reject this new spec as hearsay, but Boy Genius himself has scored what appears to be a legit spec sheet straight from HTC that delivers the good news. Guess there's only one way we can confirm this (HTC, you have our mailing address) but we're cautiously optimistic that things are looking up for North America's mobile warriors here

Funny enough, even though the show is being held in Taiwan, favored son HTC arrived without their new Touch -- go figure. Don't be shy now, the important bits have all been translated into English.

As tipster Joey put it, "many of us [6700] owners have been kinda left out in the cold with no WM6 love for the 6700," but where manufacturers and carriers fail to act, you can usually count on the tireless community over at xda-developers to provide a solution -- and from the looks of things, helmi_c's build even trumps the standard upgrade by cooking the HTC Touch interface right in. Good stuff if it does indeed pan out, so we'll keep you posted

There's no reason the 750 shouldn't have 320 x 320 (or higher) -- Windows Mobile 6 supports that, or didn't you hear? But for new devices you might want to have the keyboard slide out, like with the HTC Hermes or the Samsung i730. It's a really smart move.
