Security is a very wide field for hi-tech gadgets. This point is constantly being proved again and again as new technologies come along. The results are astonishing from time to time. The latest example - Fujitsu’s high speed capture technology. Today’s announcement made by Fujitsu says that the technology is being developed and already shows estimated results. What they decided to do is going to help greatly security of different facilities that are closed to public. High speed image capturing deals with palm vein biometric authentication. In plain English, makes it a lot faster.Making vein image capturing as fast as possible is the only goal set for Fujitsu developers. Consider the advantages: if Fujitsu succeeds, and the most probably will, palm veil will be pictured at speed similar with human’s walk. Identifying procedure with high speed imaging will not take any time or may be just a really brief moment. Another possible advantage is, analyzing the picture, very small dimensions of the gadget. Here we can start imagining it in places we would like to be more secure - households, garages or, why not, even rooms. I just hope Fujitsu will not put a four figure tag on it and they should also come up with UI that doesn’t require IT grade to setup.
