Dell Latitude XT tablet PC

Jun 11, 2008
Dell Latitude XT tablet PC is the thinnest and almost the easiest tablet PC on the market. This tablet PC is also available in a variant with a display of 400cd/m2 brightness, and we can say that it is the brightest display in the category.

The technology used for screen touching identification is very complex, it does not need a system for pressing identification, and the feedback is extremely short. The pen, which is used for writing on the display does not need a battery and has two buttons with the same functions as those on the mouse.

The most competitive tablet PC's from the market are usually based on a touch resistance which involves some applications that are forcing the system to recognize the interaction with the user. Older technologies were less solid, had a smaller accuracy and did not support multiple touch actions.

Dell Latitude XT characteristics:

  • supports Intel Core 2 Solo and Duo ULV processors
  • ATI Radeon X1250 UMA graphic plaque
  • supports up to 64 GB solid state hard disk (without mobile components for more durability) and an up to 120 GB PATA hard disk (with an access by a protection code)
  • main Smart Li-Ion rapid-charging battery with 6 cells (45 Wh) and supports a secondary battery that rises work duration to up to 9.5 hours
  • standard sized keyboard which can be worked either in a tablet PC mod or in a notebook mod
  • unity for port replication and optional optical unity by D/Bay
  • connectivity: internal v.92 modem of 56K, LAN Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wireless; Wi-Fi 802.11 (WPA), 802.11i (WPA2), (VPN) and 802.1x with EAP modes.

Elegant and innovative design, reliability, durability and easy using make from this ultra portable equipment a perfect solution for really mobile professionals.
