No one gets Cyber Sport's Orbita Mouse for Christmas

Dec 16, 2008
Cyber Sport's Orbita MouseIf you got tired of special offers the Internet is fulled with these days, this one might be a resting place for gadget enthusiasts. Gadget on the picture is a common computer mouse's substitute. It doesn't come before the Ney Year unfortunately, so you don't get one as a present. It is Cyber Sport who developed this sort of thing to enhance capabilities of a computer mouse, and they succeeded with adding one more dimension to work in, and called it the Orbita Mouse, This fact has made it interesting to use, but some predict it will be uncomfortable, hence unpopular. I wouldn't be so sure so far, because it is a first handy example of a 3D mouse. Who knows what it can accomplish?

Despite innovative mouse design, I want to start with the only drawback I can figure out: Orbita Mouse is wireless and that means it will need a recharge every once in a while via USB hub. It has to be wireless because it is operated in a completely different way than we all got used to. The third vertical dimension you can handle with it, is surfed by rotating the Orbita round and round. In rest, all the same except for buttons only. For a left click you will need to push it, and for a right – to squeeze it. Developers say that habit comes fast. Well, a least Orbita Mouse will not suffer from poor compatibility. Its 800 DPI are compatible with PC and MAC. Cyber Sports are going to ship it for 98.50 USD starting from January '09.

It must be good product if they aren't doing the whole 'buy for x-mas' deal. I am intrigued. Where can I get my hands on one?
