This absolutely new conceptual idea, called Solaqua was designed for providing potable uncontaminated water due to solar energy. It is not a secret that Sub Saharan Africa lacks for fresh and clean water while there is a lot of sun out there. This beat gadget proves to find its place in the sun. SOLAQUA system appears to be a handy ecological device trying to help Africa out of its shortage. SOLAQUA system will be in operation as a water disinfection system to be installed in the rural areas of Sub Saharan Africa. This unique chasing the sub system is going to get ultra violet as well as infra red rays from the sun to create clean water with no more pathogens being present in contaminated water. Due to this system, it is now going to be a new generation water purifier with more efficiency of solar energy.
SOLAQUA system is a good water disinfecting device which is ecologically friendly. Due to the fact electricity is an expensive power; this new generation SOLAQUA system is believed to be a perfect eco solution. Designed by Jason Lam from New South Wales University, the solar powered purification system is going to steal the show without doubt. New purification system is capable of creating up to 10 liters of good potable water.
The principle of operation is to move unsafe water through a special embedded filter called “sari cloth” so that to make better water purification. After that, five tap funnel will fill five specially made bottles to achieve at least ten liters of safe water. Then, these five bottles are placed on the ground to get as much sun as possible. To be able to absorb more heat, surface bottles was made in black with its interior being reflective. The reflective interior allows reflecting ultra violet rays inside the bottle.
