There is nothing like living by the water with water sounding like in paradise. This appears to be the worldwide largest floating hotel nearby the Thames. Called Aquiva, there are no plans to moor it among London’s building sites. The resort’s design is reported to be inspired by Burj Dubai hotel in Dubai.This floating marvel is capable of housing around 300 guests. This graceful resort is scheduled to go live in 2012 and is going to boast some gripping views like the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf and other sightseeing. The Aquiva will include a presidential suite and other luxury accommodation.
This floating resort is supposed to stand 75 feet above the waterline and is expected to be constantly moored for the Olympic Games scheduled in 2012. This stunning floating hotel will have no engines and will be relocated by towing. Additionally, the Aquiva hotel will feature 7 decks.
Besides, this stunning hotel is going to have en suite Jacuzzi, water taxis of Venetian style for sightseeing the nearby area as well as private barbecue with chef available. Previously, the floating yacht was expected to be a 6 star hotel but due to the credit crunch, it is going to be a 5 star resort.
