Users can now pre-order Zambezi AMD FX processors

AMD FX processors, known under the symbol Zambezi, can now be pre-ordered in a few stores. The prices for first three models give a rough idea about the prices recommended by the manufacturer.

The list of models that are already available includes six-core model FX-6100 and eight-core models: FX-8120 and FX-8150. All three processors have an unlocked multiplier and are designed for installation into AM3 + socket.

Price for FX-6100 will cost $ 188.32. It is designed for clock frequency of 3.3 MHz (up to 3.9 GHz in Tubo mode), 6MB level 2 cashe memory, 8 MB third-level cashe and a built in DDR3-1866 controller. TDP value is equal to 95 watts.

Price for FX-8120 is estimated at $ 221.73. Clock frequency is 3.1 GHz (up to 4.0 GHz in Turbo mode), 8 MB of level 2 cashe memory and 8 MB third level cashe. TDP value is equal to 125W. A distinctive feature of FX-8150 is increased to 3.6 GHz clock speed (up to 4.2 GHz in Turbo mode). The price of this model is specified to be $ 266.28.

Given that the sellers of new products take the opportunity to skim the cream, you can expect that the official recommended price will be slightly lower than those listed above.
